Please confirm the nameplate on the product itself.
If it can't be read, please let us know as much about the product as possible.
e.g.) attach a photograph of the sensor to an e-mail.
We might be able to find out the product number if you have the model name and the name of the manufacturer of the machine.

Q4. What is included in a quotation?
A4. It includes the product price, freight, insurance, and packing charge.
When ordering from outside of Japan, import duties, taxes, and/or customs fees may also apply. These charges are not included in the total amount of the quotation.
Q5. Can I purchase a sensor for CNC lathe or Machining center of another manufacturer?
A5. We will be pleased to answer any questions, you may have other companies' toolsensors.

ORDER
Q1. I want to purchase at the price of the quotation.
A1. Please use an online payment system if you would like to purchase by credit card, or please let us know by email (sales@metrol.co.jp) or fax before making a payment by wire transfer.
If you would like to pay by credit card without using an online payment system, please send the card information by fax to +81 42 528 1442 (Marketing Dept.) or e-mail.
Q2. How do I know that Metrol has received the order?
A2.
After an order is received, it is confirmed with the proforma invoice.
Q3. Is the amount the same even if we want to order the same product again within six months?
A3. We would like you to make an inquiry again. Please note that the quotation is valid for 30 days in consideration of price changes, postage charges and so on.
Q4. My order was mistaken. Can I change or cancel it?
A4. If You can cancel the order, if you let us know before the shipment.
No cancellation is acceptable after the shipment has been made.

PAYMENT
Q1. How can I pay for my order?
A1.
We accept credit card, wire transfer and Paypal.
For credit cards, the customer may pay for the order with Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. If you prefer not to use an online payment system, please send us your credit card information by fax to +81 42 528 1442 or e-mail.
For wire transfers, advanced payment in Japanese Yen is required, and all charges related to the bank transfer must be paid by the payee.
For Paypal, advanced payment in Japanese yen is also required. After receiving our request format,
please send the grand total to matsuhashi@metrol.co.jp.
Paypal is easy way to send money to abroad.

Q2. Is it safe to order online?
A2.
We are relegating a system of online payment to the ZEUS Corporation. ZEUS' site uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) to protect your personal information, including credit card numbers. SSL is used to encrypt all personal information so that it can't be read by anyone while being transferred from your web browser to ZEUS' site. All pages on the site that require our customers to enter sensitive information are protected with SSL. ZEUS is affiliated with Card Service International in the USA.
Q3. Do you accept checks?
A3. Personal/Company Checks and International postal money orders are not accepted. Please do not send cash, either.

DELIVERY
Q1. Which carrier do you use?
A1.
We usually use EMS or DHL for shipping. Customers are able to trace the package by the tracking number over the Internet.
If you would like to use another carrier, please let us know.
*We cannot use ordinary post because our sensors are precision equipment.
Q2. How long does it take to receive the product after I order it?
A2. Estimated delivery time is on Quotations.Please consult email .
Final delivery time will depend on the time necessary to clear your local Customs Agency.
Q3. How much is the size of the container?
A3.
Though varying according to the type of the product and the quantity, a box measuring 281x176x170(mm) is used to hold four tool sensors.
Q4. What should I do when a product is damaged in shipment?
A4.
Should your product be damaged in shipment, or the wrong item shipped, you may receive a full refund or a replacement product.
Q5. Is F.O.D. shipment by using a courier with my account possible?
A5. Yes, please let us know your account number for import when you make an inquiry.
Q6. Can I receive shipment to a Post Office Box?
A6. Metrol can only ship to a physical address; P.O. Boxes are not acceptable delivery addresses.
Q7. Can I change the delivery address?
A7.
It is possible to change the delivery address as long as your order has not been delivered or is not on its way to being delivered.
To request a change in your orders delivery address, please email or fax us the new address information along with your order number or our invoice number.

The manufacture's warranty period is one year. Please note that we are not responsible for items that are damaged by mishandling or wrong operation.
Q2. Do you offer any discounts on large orders?
A2. We offer volume discounts for purchasing more than 10 tool sensors at the same time. Please ask for details when you make an inquiry.
